I actually finished this about 2 weeks ago, but was kind of reluctant to upload it orz
I had a week off uni to study for exam block and ended up staying up all night for most of the week working on this XD It took about 34.5 hours XP

Anywas, this was supposed to just be a sketch, but I wanted to try a background...

In the world that Echo and Storm live in, living in the streets is dangerous. No one likes to see starving and dying people, so someone decided to do something about it. An organisation was formed in which people, known as ‘Ratters’, would hunt down the homeless, referred to as ‘Rats’ and sell them to slavers down the coast. The Ratters are divided into two groups, normal Ratters and ‘Black Ratters’. It is considered much worse to be caught by a Black Ratter. They will either recruit the Rats to join ‘Cross’, an organisation that deals with anyone with an unhuman ability, or kills them. No one knows how to tell the difference between the two though…

Echo was running around, inspecting the new area that they had found, as children do. Out of nowhere, Storm grabbed her and jumped behind some old boxes. He covered her mouth and breathed softly into her ear “Shhh. Don’t make a sound.”

I know it doesn't look like I spent very long on it, but I did my best orz
